プロフィール
現在、カナダ・バンクーバーの Simon Fraser University で助教(Assistant Professor)を務めています。以前はマイクロソフト(米国レドモンド)でシニアリサーチャーとして勤務していました。博士研究員(ポスドク)として、マサチューセッツ大学アマースト校 Manning College of Information & Computer Sciences の Mohit Iyyer 教授のもとで研究を行いました。
博士号は東京大学大学院 言語情報科学専攻で取得しました。
研究内容
自然言語処理(NLP)システムが、入力・出力の双方において長文をどの程度うまく扱えるかという問題に関心があります。具体的には、創作テキストの機械翻訳、物語生成、長文要約、書籍一冊分の長文における主張の検証(ファクトチェック)、長文に基づく多言語質問応答などの分野に取り組んでいます。
